It was last July when I got the news: the crystal shop where I had been teaching, giving readings, and serving my community was closing. I had poured so much of my heart into that space — offering walk-in readings every Thursday, monthly workshops, and participating in every psychic fair. It was more than work; it was a spiritual home.

Even though the doors didn’t officially close until the very last day of August, July 2024 was my final month there. I was devastated. That place had become part of my identity and purpose — and then, all at once, it was gone.

But in the space that followed, something unexpected happened.

I traveled. I spent time with my family. I walked on the ancient streets in Rome. I began tending to the healing I had been putting off — for myself, and for my husband. I slowly began decluttering my home, inside and out. And eventually, I began to create, write, craft jewelry, and to open new channels for spirit to flow through me.
